Who We Are
Maydan Al Mustaqbal E-Commerce and Advertising Company, the parent company of al-maydan.com and booking-libya.com, is looking for a talented PHP Developer with experience in WordPress to join our team. If you are passionate about coding, problem-solving, and building functional and visually appealing websites, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do
1. Website Development and Maintenance:
• Build, maintain, and optimize websites using WordPress and PHP.
• Develop custom themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.
• Ensure the websites are responsive, fast, and secure.
2. Customization and Integration:
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to align with project goals.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
3. Troubleshooting and Debugging:
• Identify and fix website performance issues and bugs.
• Ensure compatibility across different browsers, devices, and WordPress updates.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing team to implement features and designs.
• Provide technical guidance on improving user experience and website performance.
5. Website Optimization:
• Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and scalability.
• Ensure database efficiency and minimize loading times.
What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:
• Proficiency in PHP and experience developing with WordPress.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Understanding of responsive web design and development best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have):
• Experience with Elementor, Divi, or similar page builders.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce integrations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
